The basis

An average of averages is not a portfolio number.

Every ratio is recomputed from underlying totals at whatever level you are looking at. Switch the method and watch the same eleven reporting hotels deliver a different month.

$0.00

Total room revenue ÷ rooms sold, July.

This is the figure hyprdata reports.

The metrics

One definition per metric, at every property.

Rooms sold ÷ physical room count. The denominator never moves.

The hyprdata portfolio screen: eight tiles —
occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, rooms sold, total revenue, GOP margin, GOPPAR and
management fees — a year-over-year RevPAR chart, and a table of every
             property with its own figures.
The portfolio.
One property's operating statement in hyprdata:
a header strip of rooms available, rooms sold, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, TRevPAR,
total revenue, GOPPAR and CPOR, above the USALI statement — every line with
actual, budget and prior year, the variances in dollars and percent.
One property's operating statement.

The limits

Five things it will never do.

Constraints on how the product is built, not preferences. They are the reason it is safe to connect.

Never write to your systems

Read-only against every source, permanently. It cannot change a reservation, a rate or a folio, so connecting it cannot break a hotel.

Never become your record

Operational truth stays where it is created. This is a mirror of your data, never the place it lives.

Never hide a gap

A property that did not report, or a day that failed validation, shows as missing with the reason — never quietly estimated or averaged over.

Never identify your guests

Guest identifiers are never extracted and cannot be recovered from the product. It explains how classes of guests behave; it never tells you who someone is.

Never change a definition quietly

If we correct how a metric is calculated, affected dashboards carry a notice for 30 days saying what changed and by how much — and the previous basis stays available.

Where this goes

Consolidate first. Compare second. Anticipate last.

Multi-currency, multi-region reporting and a mobile app are on the same path — each proven against real portfolio data before it reaches you.

See two years of your own portfolio on one basis, each number traceable to the night it came from.

We are onboarding a small number of multi-property owners and management companies alongside our development partner.

Goes to a person, not a list. We do not sell or share it, and we will not add you to anything. Prefer email? Write to hello@hyprdata.io.
